Get Involved
There are lots of ways to get involved with Headway Teesside:
BECOME A MEMBER
If you have been affected by a brain injury either by being injured yourself, sharing your life with someone who has or support a friend or colleague, become a member of Headway Teesside.
Come along and join in our activities, events. Meet others, make friends.
In return, we’ll give you a space to talk, feel listened to and supported.
JOIN THE COMMITTEE
We are always on the look out for people who want to help shape how Headway Teesside develops and supports local people affected by brain injury. You don’t need to have a brain injury to get involved, although you should have an interest in brain injury and some understanding of how it affects the people it touches.
Meetings are once a month and you are welcome to come and meet the rest of the committee to see if it’s for you.
VOLUNTEER
Our activities can't run without help, even if it’s only to put the kettle on!
If you can spare a couple of hours a month to provide practical support, share your skills and have fun, get in touch.
We don’t want to put anyone off, although there are some things we need to check out and volunteers will have to either have a recent Disclosure and Barring Certificate or be willing to get one.
